MENSWEAR SPRING 16 | THE LINEUP

J.W Anderson

There's a very relaxed feeling of the J.W Anderson collection this season. It fits my personal style aesthetic to the t. Colorful & bright, vibrant, relaxing, and a little unisex.

Coach

I'll be honest, I was never first in line checking for Coach. However, as of lately Coach has been killing it in my opinion. I can't help but wonder who the Coach guy is season. Is he going to a rave? In a band? Whatever he is doing can I join, please? From the animal prints, to the bold use of colors, this season had a psychedelic/trippy vibe that was oddly refreshing.
(Sign me up for those shearling pool slides)

KTZ

Perhaps rubber is the new leather? Well, at least for KTZ's spring 16' collection. To me, this collection is the perfect example of "leaving something to the imagination". This collection is a tad bit revealing with the oversized transparent coats paired with tiny transparent shorts, but it's in the best way possible.

James Long

The different uses of prints-on-prints and fabrics is a refreshing change for menswear. This James Long collection is my favorite because he seems too cool for school. One of my favorite looks from this season is the tie-dyed pants with the black and white lace bomber jacket.

Burberry Prorsum

Who knew I would ever crave a lace button up until this very second?! This spring season at Burberry, it seems as if left my normal day-to-day life schedule and joined a very chic folk band. I'm loving the use of lace and animal prints -- straying off from the typical Burberry man.

TRENCHING IT

 Photos by: Asia Minor

| Turtleneck: Saks Fifth Avenue, Trench: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Pants: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Boots: Base London |

Turtlenecks are slowly staring to grow on me. I was never one to go out shopping specifically seeking a turtleneck, but over the last 3 months they've kind of been necessary, especially this cashmere one. It's the perfect shade of ivory and probably one of the warmest sweaters in my closet. Now I'm out searching for every shade.

Took these photos about a week ago (cue in Bobby Shmurda) near the Flatiron district. It's actually the neighborhood where I picked up these brand new Marc By Marc Jacobs pants from Crossroads Trading for only $27.00 - basically a steal! They're so unique with the tan lining and the zipper detail down by the ankle. Mine!

MENSWEAR: FENDI SPRING 2015

Photos via: Syle.com

I am obsessing over the Fendi spring 2015 menswear collection. By the way, this obsession is slaying (taking over) my entire life. The Fendi man is ON POINT for next spring and I'm 100% on board, to say the very least. I'm definitely pulling tons of style inspiration from this collection. Thank god I'm already "trending" with multiple pairs of strapy leather sandals in my closet so I can check that one off the list. If Fendi's goal this season was all about accomplishing clean-cut tailored looks with standout pieces -- then job well done.
Example #1: Every guy has a basic white t-shirt and black tailored trousers in their closet, right? Well, add that printed bomber jacket and you're all set for a standout spring look.
The jackets and trench coats play a big part of this collection; pulling the entire look together.
I'm also digging look #3 monochromatic moment with a pop of beige.
Ugh, this is all too good to be true. I'll be dreaming of Fendi tonight.
