90's KID

It’s Thursday and you know what that means! Throw back Thursday to the 90’s! This is one of the many era’s I wish I could travel back in time to re-live. Well, re-live it in my 20’s. (Preferably, 21) Social wise, was way too young to know what was going on during 92’-99’. I do, however have fond memories of the clothes my parents wore.

There was this black leather jacket my dad wore on the weekends which made me think he literally was the epitome of “cool." I was OBSESSED with at the age of 7. (Yes, my obsession with clothes started at a young age). He still has that jacket to this day so whenever I make trips home to Raleigh, I make it my mission to wear it out at least once with friends. As for my mom, she wore a lot of skirt suits during the week and denim on the weekends. It’s was cool to see my parents take the effort to dress up and look good, as they still do today. Maybe that’s where I picked up my style from.

Enough about my parents, lets get into this look!
Here’s another spring/summer look from my Conner Rana collaboration. This silver metallic bomber jacket is my life right now. Some would say it’s a little bold, but imagine throwing it over a basic white t-shirt, paired with jeans and perhaps Birkenstocks. It'll add that extra pop to any look. It also just seemed like an easy combo to tie in the silver print from the pants.
What do you guys think of the look?
