DORE SPRING/SUMMER 15' PRESENTATION

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the DORE spring/summer 2015' presentation. If I had to describe Dore's spring collection in one word it would be elegant. Each piece was beautiful and creatively detailed in its own way. I've been meaning the post these photos quite some time now but with the holiday season quickly approaching, it's perfect. Despite the fact this collection is for next summer 2015, I feel as if any of these pieces would make the perfect holiday outfit. I would be obsessed with any girl who'd walk into a Christmas party in that white strapless chiffon dress! Can't go wrong with those winter whites!

RUTHIE DAVIS SS15 PREVIEW

A couple weeks ago, I popped into the Ruthie Davis showroom for spring/summer 2015 previews with my fellow blogger buddy Candace. I wanted to take the time out to actually blog what I saw instead of just normally posting a pic or two on my Instagram because I am completely obsessed with this collection.

As much as I love twisiting womenswear and menswear -- I would NEVER wear heels on normal day-to-day. But, it was fun to see what types of heels and faltforms will be avaliable to you ladies next spring and also I get to share these collections with my female readers.

That strapy bad boy will make any woman feel powerful.

I wonder why these heels are called the "Rihanna". Oh, becuase only  bad b*tch like her can pull these off. Period.

If you're looking for a statement shoe that will instantly give you that effortless "cool" look for next spring then you've come to the right place. I love Ruthie's spring 15' "Happy" and "Cool" flatform sneaker so much I NEED it made in a womens 12 so I can fit into it, haha! I can totally see Leandra from Manrepeller or Susie from Stylebubble rocking these bad boys next season.

They're so funky and fun they'll put all your basic sneakers to shame. So ladies, put your heels to rest for awhile, pull out these kcisk, and pair them with flirty dresses and skirts! 

MINNOJI PRESENTATION

Last week I was invited to the MINNOJI presentation downtown in Chelsea. It was a night full of fashion, fun, cocktails, socializing, and beautiful people. It was so nice meeting the designer, Milena Encheva and hearing her talk about what inspired her resort 15' collection.

Remember when I said this summer I was going to try to stick to a theme? Well, I tried to play off of that slumber summer theme I was going for. For the event I wore: a H&M fedora, Forever 21 top, (obsessed with that baby blue and white combo btw) Torn by Ronny Kobo pants, and GBX black oxfords.

MINNOJI'S resort 15' collection was one like I'd never seen before! It was so strong and powerful yet, also feminine and flouncy. Typically when you see a resort collection, the looks are very vacation inspired. I mean hellllloooo, we are talking about resort season. But, does a vacation always have to be to a beach or on a cruise? Where is the Minnoji resort girl is going?! Because I want to be right there with her! I'm loving how each look can instantly take you from day to night. Especially that nude jumper number. Easy to wear with flats during the day but with a pump heel for the night time you're ready for girls night. My favorite piece of the night was probably the black leather dress. Simplicity at its finest. I love the detail on the shoulder. It's literally perfect for any girl in need of a new 'little black dress'.
