Days Downtown

It's funny when going down to Soho, you enter a completely different world. A world surrounded by cobblestones, cute buildings, art galleries, trendy boutiques, the love for the color black, and of course, cigarette smokers. 

Soho is my favorite areas in New York City. Not only for the shopping, but the landscape of downtown is literally breathtaking.

But of course, the day that Angelica and I decided to go to Soho, it would start to rain. Just our luck! However, we had fun regardless. We weren't going to let that little bump in our day rain on our parade. Can you say, dedication? 

The only good that came out of the rain, was me buying a super cool clear dome umbrella, which is surprisingly the first umbrella I've bought in the city that hasn't broken, or flipped in on me. 

*Knocking on wood that I'm not speaking too soon.*

The street vendors downtown give me more of a reason to travel to Soho, because they have the best accessories. In fact, I actually picked up those black reflection sunglasses and beetle inspired ring from a vendor awhile ago, all for under $30. It's great, because I have yet to see anyone with the same pieces. It's cheap, creative, and a bit special, which is what I love.
