Home Bound

Besides catching up with friends and loved ones, the next best thing about traveling home down south to Raleigh, North Carolina is the 20 degree weather difference.
Leaving the chilly NYC in the low 30's and landing in Raleigh in the low 50's, you could only imagine how happy I was to take off my extra jacket I layered over my Levi's denim jacket.

I've been so use to bundling up in layers upon layers to stay somewhat remotely warm in New York, that my friends thought I was completely crazy to be parading around Raleigh in only one light-weight jacket.
Truth is, if only they knew how crisp it gets in the city..
Outfit secret: My "scarf" is really a poncho.

Completely obsessed with my new Free People pants. What's there not to love about a drop-crotch, skinny ankle pant paired with a double loop rope belt?
What do you guys think?

  1. love the look .. having a pashmina or poncho to double as a scarf (or shawl) is the perfect answer to changing temps!
